Mohammad Anisul Hoque’s childhood experience of travels into deep forest and mountains in Chittagong helped him to become a bonsai artist and establish close links with nature. Photography, for him is another link to nature, it helps him document moments for the future. Anisul is a graduate of the Pathshala, South Asian Media Institute. His ‘High Life’ photo story was shown at Chobi Mela VI, International Photography Exhibition in 2011 and featured in the Majority World Exhibition at The Guardian in London, 2012. His Photo story ‘Quest for Self’ was shown at The Angkor Photo Festival 2012, Cambodia and this story exhibited at Chobi Mela VII, 2013. He also won a nomination award from The Humanity Photo Award, China for his story ‘Jamdani’. His story ‘Quest for Self’ is selected at The Photoquai 2013, The International Festival in Paris. This story also selected for The Month of Photography Festival 2013, Tokyo, Japan.
